Cockpit
I'm going to try to make this cockpit as close to full scale as possible.
The process will involve making mater to create detail molds.
A friend of mine Tom Copeland and master model builder will be creating most of the detailed masters.
These are parts fresh off the machine. I spent several hours in a full scale Crusader cockpit and measured away.
This is the cockpit side. The seat snuggles between this and the left side.
I love how these parts come alive.
I punched small diameter disks to apply to the ribs to give the look of bucked rivets.
The glare shield master is coming along great. The blanket was made from epoxy putty.
Master plug close to being finished.
